midnight oil

Hated to go to bed last night. I had two projects to work on and was auditioning supplies and the time just ran away from me. I have two piles of stuff ready to go and the ideas are really good. Or at least they seemed to be last night. I was afraid I would forget them during my six hours of sleep, but no... there they were, still fresh in my tired mind, but no time to work on them this morning. Must make notes now.
I have the two "gimme five" art projects to mail today to Ann and to Wendy. I had a couple of blank books almost done, so those were finished and packed up.
Dug in my felting materials bin and found some lavendar scrim to send to my Pasadena chum so she can do some luverly scarves. Can't wait to see what she makes.
I brought in fresh foodstuffs last night and then proceeded to eat too much.

But here is Tip #1 for the day. Buy the new Lipton tea (no afiliation), the bags are cute little pyramids made of nylon mesh. Have to empty one tonight and see what I can do with it.

Tip #2 is to buy your next supply of acrylic matt medium in tubes. I just got some on sale last weekend and it is so easy to use, I can't imagine why they ever packed it in a tub. You squeeze out what you need and brush it on. There is no messy knife, no stuck-on-forever jar lid. Just fresh, creamy medium every time. Here is my old supply and my new favorite.
