Princess Dye

This tiara was done by a friend of mine for a challenge four years ago - to make a tiara that had personal meaning. Peg's a great dyer and this glove was well used before being pressed into service as her crowning glory.

stand in

This little tub toy could be the stand in for the Microsoft Icon. Smallest of a fleet of frogs I bought in a bag for the grandkids to play with in the tub. I saved him for my collection. The others all lost a toe so they wouldn't hold water and get all yucky inside. He stays high and dry ... and hidden.

self-published

My first pamphlet stitched book. Written and illustrated when I was about eight or nine years old. I've scanned all the pages and I might put out a second edition with selected corrections and maybe some font changes but definitely with the original illustrations.

out of Africa

I put a few doodahs on this that seemed to fit the theme and so it's ready to continue on its journey. Only one more stop before it goes home to Donna.

a slippery slope

I know, I know. What the heck is that? It's the shine on my clean kitchen floor. The freshly polished dark wood cabinets are reflecting in it on the left. The camera couldn't find any edges to focus on. But you'd have been blinded otherwise by the shine. So it's a good thing it's a bit blurry.

This is about the extent of the arting done this weekend. I've spent a lot of time in my workspace but it has been to clean and organize. You can actually see more carpeting and more tabletop now. Great progress. Still an embarrassing pit to show off to company, though. More work necessary in the next seven days. Countdown to state visit from my mom begins.
