last night

My daughter came over last evening for a visit. She was delivering a finished project to be mailed off with my as yet unfinished project. She sat and chatted while I finished. We took photos of some other recent finished projects of hers and chatted and chatted some more.
This evening I may have gotten a sort of an idea of what I want to do for another project I signed up for due in July. But I may not even follow through with it. Too much going on lately. I have to get my passport renewed. I need to buckle down and do some weaving. I have things to do already on my mental to do list. If I write them all down, I will probably just crash my memory completely.

Gramma's fudge recipe let me down. In the back of the fridge now there is a big pile of what could be called fondant. Soft enough to roll out and cover a cake, too soft to eat as squares of fudge. Somebody who cooks a lot would want to use that I'm sure. I have to get it out of my house soon or I won't be able to leave through any normal size exits.
Back to the grocery store tomorrow for more chocolate, sugar and nuts.
Rain turned to sunny skies finally.

I'll start working on those again tomorrow. I just bought some more stuff to start a new project. On sale. Couldn't resist. Too good to pass up. Blah, blah, blah. Shopping in groups is not good for me and my resolutions. It's like eating out. What everyone else is ordering sounds so good.

I am finishing up things. More 4x4's and postcards. Too many to scan separately. I'll just load a group shot. My granddaughter have been painting on her dollhouse and the furniture for it. That's coming along nicely with only one white guest towel ruined so far.

nothing to show

I've been working hard and have hardly anything to show for it. At least nothing I can post here. I have done the family photo pages for my granddaughter's birthday party and printed copies for everybody.
I worked on some postcard sized Valentines but it's too early for that. I sorted a bunch of piles on my worktable and got excited all over again about a bunch of stuff I've collected to use.
Tried an experiment with Grillon thread that was a bust.
Best I can do is post a photo of some tulips at the office. Bright spot in a winter storm.
