it's spring

When my husband gave me this one a few Christmas' ago, he mentioned that most of my frogs and toads were fairly sedate and down to earth. This was one of the early carefree spirits and there have been many since. I lean toward the more serious, salt of the earth type of frog, I guess, but the comic ones keep me smiling.

I just wish he hadn't come with a snail on his can. I seem to be plagued with snails in the garden this year. If it's not one thing, it's another. This is the Year of the Snail. I run a highly confidential relocation program for them. Free airfare west into Charlie's yard. Some of them go north to John's spa, while others fly east to visit the barky little dog.

in situ

Part of series. Smell-no-evil. I only have this one, however. See-no-evil, hear-no-evil and speak-no-evil are in residence elsewhere. This one was gift from my daughter and son-in-law. I'm still looking for a weave-no-ugly to place near my loom.

Hugh

A playboy frog in the style of Heffner. A delightful garage sale find of Rachel's.
